NYSOPA gives a $200 annual donation to local fire departments and  ambulance associations that serve the oil fields of New York. Fire departments who received donations in 2012: Bolivar, Allentown, Scio, Petrolia, Andover, Whitesville, Alma, Limestone, Allegany, Knapp Creek, Westons Mills, Portville, Clarksville, Richburg, Wellsville, Shinglehouse, Busti.

Ambulance associations who received donations in 2012: Bolivar, Andover, Independence, Limestone, Allegany, Knapp Creek, Westons Mills, Portville, Richburg, Wellsville Volunteer, Shinglehouse, Clarksville, Busti.

Donation to the Pioneer Oil Museum ($2270 – $1 for each clambake ticket sold by NYSOPA)

Donation to LEEK Hunting and Mountain Preserve

Annual scholarships to St. Bonaventure University, Houghton College, Alfred University and University of Pittsburgh at Bradford ($1500 each)

City of Olean, Parks and Recreation for youth activities program ($1000)
